Child safety standards

BandhanOne has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE). The service is only for adults of legal marriageable age (18 for women, 21 for men in India).

• Age is collected at sign-up and checked against government ID during verification. Accounts found to belong to a minor are removed.
• Any content or behaviour that sexualises, grooms or endangers a minor — including child sexual abuse material (CSAM) — is prohibited. Accounts involved are banned immediately and their ID blocked from re-registering.
• Members can report any profile or message in the app ("Underage" is a report reason). Reports are reviewed within one working day; reports involving minors are prioritised.
• We preserve relevant information and report apparent CSAM to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and to Indian law enforcement (including via cybercrime.gov.in), as required by law.
